Road to the World Cup — Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

The Ultimate XI "Road to the World Cup" ("the Campaign") is a prize competition run by Ultimate XI ("we," "us," or "our"). The manager with the highest scoring team across Gameweeks 29–31 will win a cash prize of USD $50. These terms govern participation in the Campaign. By entering the Campaign you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must have a registered Ultimate XI account in good standing.
You must be 18 years of age or older to claim the cash prize.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Ultimate XI are not eligible to win.
The Campaign is open to registered managers worldwide. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes on the prize in their jurisdiction.
There is no entry fee.

3. Competition Period

The Campaign runs across Gameweeks 29–31, beginning on Thursday 27th March 2026 and concluding on Friday 3rd April 2026. The entry and lineup lock deadline is 4pm GMT on Thursday 27th March 2026.

4. How to Enter

Build a squad containing players from the World Cup Qualification UEFA or World Cup Qualification Inter-confederation competitions.
Submit a valid lineup in the Road to the World Cup competition before the entry deadline.
Managers may submit lineups across multiple gameweeks within the Campaign period. Only a manager's highest single-gameweek score will be used to determine the winner.

5. Winner Determination

The winner is the manager with the highest score in a single gameweek across the Campaign period. Scores are calculated using the Ultimate XI scoring system (currently FotMob ratings):

Each player in your starting XI contributes their gameweek rating to your total score.
Your designated captain's score is doubled.
Auto-substitution rules apply as per the standard Ultimate XI lineup rules.
Scores are final once computed and will not be adjusted for late data corrections unless an error is material and solely caused by Ultimate XI.

6. Tiebreaker

If two or more managers share the same highest score, the tiebreaker is applied in the following order:

The manager whose captain scored highest.
If still tied, the manager with the highest scoring individual player in their starting XI.
If two managers have the exact same starting XI and the same captain, the combined bench score will be added to distinguish the winner.

Ultimate XI's decision in applying tiebreaker rules is final.

7. Prize

The prize is USD $50, awarded to a single winner.
The prize will be paid via PayPal, bank transfer, or USDC within 7 business days of the winner being verified.
We will contact the winning manager via their registered email address to arrange payment.
The prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative beyond the stated amount.
The winner is solely responsible for any applicable taxes on the prize in their jurisdiction.

8. X (Twitter) Sorare Card Giveaway

Alongside the $50 cash prize, Ultimate XI is running a separate giveaway for an in-season Trincao Sorare card via X (Twitter). This is a separate promotion from the main cash prize. To enter the X giveaway:

Follow @ultimate_xi_io on X.
Like and repost the campaign tweet.
Comment underneath the tweet with your Sorare manager name and your Ultimate XI club name.
Submit a valid lineup in the Road to the World Cup competition.

The winner will be selected randomly using wheelofnames.com on Friday 3rd April 2026 from all eligible entrants who completed all of the above actions. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by X Corp.

9. Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify any participant and void any score where we have reasonable grounds to believe the result was achieved through cheating, exploitation of bugs, use of bots or automated tools, or any other means that violate the Ultimate XI terms of service.

10. Right to Modify or Cancel

Ultimate XI reserves the right to modify, pause, or cancel the Campaign at any time with reasonable notice. If the Campaign is cancelled before a winner is determined, no prize will be awarded.

11. General

Ultimate XI's decisions regarding scores, winners, and the application of these rules are final.
We are not liable for any technical failures that prevent a lineup from being submitted, provided we have taken reasonable steps to maintain platform availability.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
